Material & Finish
Quality checked cast iron, enamelled in a natural glass based satin finish. Soap-friendly, non-toxic, naturally non-stick. PFAS, PFOA, and PTFE FREE.
The bamboo serving lid is sustainably farmed, carbonised, cross laminated, and hand finished to last.

Naturally Non-Stick
The black satin enamel cooking surface becomes increasingly non-stick with use.

Everything Compatible
If it’s hot, it works. Even, lasting heat for temperatures up to 300°C.

Campfire Note
Ironclad cast iron is at home under the stars. Just remember, open flame will mark enamel. For camping choose seasoned iron or Antique Black.

Serving Lid Use
The serving lid is heat and warp resistant but not suitable for use in the oven or campfire.

Enamel Grande Legacy Pan

Wash in warm, soapy water. Use a soft cloth or gentle sponge. Rinse well and dry fully with a soft towel. Store in a dry place. If stacking, place a cloth between pans.

While Ironclad cookware can take almost anything, dishwashers strip, crack, and damage enamel. We recommend hand washing for longevity.

Grande Legacy Serving Lid

Wipe with a damp cloth after use and dry thoroughly. Do not soak or leave in standing water. Hand wash only. Store in a dry place. Lightly oil when required.

What is the set for?
Cooking and sealing meals in one pan. The enamel Lil Legacy Pan delivers steady heat. The bamboo Serving Lid seals it in, then flips to serve at the table.

Can both go in the oven?
The Pan is oven safe up to 300°C. The Serving Lid is bamboo and not oven safe. Use it to seal heat on the stove, then serve.

Is the enamel non-stick?
Yes. The satin enamel surface is naturally non-stick, and improves with use. To prevent sticking, use a low to medium heat and a generous amount of oil - don’t worry, enameled cast iron gets hot and stays hot for the perfect sear.

Do I need to season enamel pans?
No. Unlike raw cast iron, enamel pans don’t need seasoning. Just wash, dry, and cook.  To protect the rim,occasionally  rub on a small amount of high smoke point oil. 

Can I use metal utensils?
Wood, bamboo, or silicone is best. Light use of metal will not hurt the enamel. Avoid sharp edges that can chip.

Are they dishwasher safe?
We recommend hand washing both. Dishwashers reduce the life of enamel and bamboo. Warm, soapy water is best.

Will the Serving Lid warp or crack?
It is carbonised under heat and pressure, then cross-laminated in three layers for strength. With care, it will last for many years.
